Dine Out to Help Out

We are donating a portion of sales from our most popular menu items for the month of September to an Indigenous Friendship Centre in your community. This is in support of Orange Shirt Day and the new federal holiday, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, both taking place on September 30!

ORANGE SHIRT DAY

Orange Shirt Day exists to commemorate the residential school experience, to witness and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families, and to commit to the ongoing process of reconciliation.

NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION

The Government of Canada recently passed legislation to make September 30 a federal statutory holiday called the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day is an important step in the reconciliation process. It provides an opportunity to recognize and commemorate the tragic history and ongoing legacy of residential schools, and to honour their survivors, their families, and communities.
